Standing Seam metal roofs are solid roofing colors so you don’t have to worry as much about clashing. If you have a black roof you can choose siding colors without the worry of clashing.

Sunlight will turn your base color lighter or “bluing” as it’s called and with an abundance of light it's better if you choose sidingg colors that are a warmer or darker color. You will want to accentuate your home's architectural styles and detail of your exterior to maximize your curb appeal, however too much contrast can have the opposite effect and the details no longer stand out.
