Solar Energy Technology that works as hard as you do…
☀️With REAP grants, ITC tax incentives, and an available GDS 7-year depreciation schedule for farm equipment, your solar power installation will provide benefits to your bottom line for years to come.
Whether heating or cooling calving facilities, powering a water pump, or powering irrigation equipment capturing the sun’s energy for electricity can save you money.
☀️There is no change in your current system – Our grid-connected solar panels integrate into your current electrical system seamlessly so, in most cases, there is no need for extensive or expensive modifications.
☀️Our experts will prepare your application for a USDA REAP grant and complete your energy audit and feasibility study.
Ag producers can expect an immediate boost to their bottom line when “Going Solar.” Like other equipment, your solar array and its components are all depreciable. Along with state and local incentives, and REAP Grants most of the solar power installation costs are paid. Your Net Investment for Going Solar makes sense using abc Solar Power USA.
Miles Benzel of the USDA explains how the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) works.

What is it like to apply for farm energy incentive programs like REAP?
1. Solar Panels - Solar panels are made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells, which convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity.
2. Inverter - An inverter converts the DC electricity generated by solar panels into the alternating current (AC) electricity used in most homes.
3. Utility grid - Your solar system is still connected to a local utility grid to provide power after sundown. Connection to the grid also allows your solar installation to return to the grid any excess clean energy your system generates during the day. A utility meter measures your power consumption and solar output.
4. Monitoring system - A monitoring system sends information about your solar installation, including the amount of energy it generates, to your solar provider, to maintain optimal system performance.
5. Battery Storage - A battery can provide complete, continuous power and recharges daily when the sun rises. Our solar installations for ag producers also integrate with generators.
Solar can save you money by replacing electricity from the grid with solar electricity generated on your roof. The cost of solar plus any remaining electric bill amount may be lower than what it was before solar.
Solar is more affordable and accessible today because the cost of solar systems has dropped and a range of financing options can help you meet your goals. Whether you lease, take out a loan, or purchase a system, you may be able to start generating savings right away.
1. Customizable - Because each roof is unique in its relation to the sun we custom design each solar system to maximize solar output.
2. Simple - We make it simple for you to start saving with solar. From you custom design to the permits and paperwork, we are with you all the way.
3. Convenient - Using our simple phone app you can control, monitor and maximize your solar power output.
4. Safe - at abc Solar Power we use only the best solar panels, inverters, racking systems, battery storage systems, and monitors to insure your solar array and your peace of mind.
5. Reliable - With our specialized and experienced solar power installation crews
our project turnaround times are some of the quickest in the industry.
The first question that we want to answer when looking at what going solar can mean for you is, "what is your solar offset?" Electrical usage offset is the expected percentage of your home's electrical consumption provided by solar panels. If your expected offset is over 100% it means that all of your energy consumption can be provided by solar.
